For Students

As children, teens, and young adults, we’re at a time in life when everything around us can have a big impact. That’s why it’s so important to have the right support and resources when we’re going through something difficult. Loss and grief shouldn’t be treated like something to hide—we need to be able to talk about it in ways that make sense to us, without anyone acting like our feelings aren’t real. Schools, where we spend most of our day, should be a place where it’s okay to open up, ask for help, and know you’re not alone.

Building positivity and looking ahead can feel difficult—especially during tough times—but real change happens through small, steady steps. Taking a logical and scientific approach can help make sense of what you’re feeling and experiencing. Understanding the “why” behind emotions can be a powerful part of healing and moving forward.
